Um sich mit „Kollektiven Individualismus“ auseinanderzusetzten, war der Besuch von Liz Kosack mit ihrer Band **Y** im Rahmen der Monday Meetings 2020 bereits im November 2020 geplant – das Konzert wird am 4. Januar 2021 als livestream nachgeholt.
*Y** (engl. „four star Y“) ist eine Berliner Formation, die starke, schräge, treibende Improvisierte Musik macht, mit gelegentlichen Ausflügen in Psychedelia und Rockjazz. Liz Kosack ist eine amerikanische Synthesizer-Spielerin und interplanetare Botschafterin (SWR-Jazzpreis 2019). Dan Peter Sundland ist ein verrückter Norweger im Anzug, der einen frechen Umgang mit dem Bass hat. Steve Heather ist ein zerzauster, wilder Australier, mit einer gefährlichen Mischung aus Humor, Virtuosität und modernistischer Ritterlichkeit.

In 2020, the concert format Monday Meetings of the „jungesloft“ collective will take place in its 3rd edition. With five concerts in autumn, the collective brings music and art from various genres to the LOFT under the theme “Ego Nobis as Collective Individualism“. This pseudo-contradiction is deliberately thrown into the room, leaving a lot of leeway for its interpretation.
The artists will critically examine this topic.

**Y** (engl. „four star Y“) is a Berlin based outfit playing some heavy and weird and driving improv, casually careening toward psychedelia and rockjazz. Liz Kosack is an American Synthesiste and face-shifting interplanetary messenger. Dan Peter Sundland is a crazy Norwegian dressed in suits who has naughty bass etiquette. Steve Heather is an unkempt vicious Australian with a dangerous mix of humor, virtuosity, and modernist chivalry.
The three bandmembers first congregated under the **Y** hat in 2014, and are currently working towards their first album release.
