Das Pablo Held Trio ist derzeit eine der lebendigsten und bedeutendsten Formationen des europäischen Jazz.
Es überschreitet die Grenzen zwischen Komposition und Improvisation, indem es auf Festlegungen – eine Abfolge von Themen und einen vorgezeichneten Weg, diese zu präsentieren – bei Konzerten verzichtet. Das Risiko radikaler Spontaneität verleiht dem Trio seit Jahren Flügel, so dass es zum Modell einer Ästhetik geworden ist, welche man nur bei wenigen Künstlern findet. Die Kohäsion des Pablo Held Trios beruht auf Freundschaft und auf dem schöpferischen Willen, beständig Neuland zu betreten. Das künstlerische Gewicht und die Eigenständigkeit der drei Ausnahmemusiker ist ein Anziehungspunkt für einen wachsenden Kreis kongenialer Musiker des europäischen und amerikanischen Kontinents, die das Trio häufig erweitern.

The Pablo Held Trio is currently one of the most lively and important formations in European jazz.
It transcends the boundaries between composition and improvisation by dispensing with determinations – a sequence of themes and a predefined way of presenting them – in concerts. The risk of radical spontaneity has given wings to the trio for years, so much so that it has become the model of an aesthetic found in few artists. The cohesion of the Pablo Held Trio is based on friendship and on the creative will to constantly break new ground. The artistic weight and independence of the three exceptional musicians is a point of attraction for a growing circle of congenial musicians from the European and American continents, who frequently expand the trio.
