NOW MY LIFE IS SWEET LIKE CINNAMON ist ein sich selbst erschaffender, interdisziplinärer Raum, ein stetig expandierender Kosmos, ein wachsender Organismus mit einem Sinn für das Absurde, nicht ohne einen gewissen Widerspruchsgeist, humorvoll und getrieben von einer kompromisslosen Experimentierfreude.
Eric Haupt, Moritz Wesp, Anthony Greminger und Raphael Röchter sind die primären Drahtzieher dieses Kosmos, Schöpfer und gleichzeitig Figuren ihrer eigenen Geschichte, die inhaltlich und formal bewusst offen gestaltet ist.
Integraler Bestandteil des CINNAMONschen Klangspektrums ist das neuartige Instrumentarium – die Synthesizer-Posaune oder der Klanganzug sind Pionierarbeiten auf dem Gebiet des analog-elektronischen Instrumentenbaus. Davon abgesehen halten auch Vibratoren oder ganze Kuhherden Einzug in die Musik – alles ist Spielzeug.
Niemand weiß, was die Zukunft bringen wird. NOW MY LIFE IS SWEET LIKE CINNAMON wissen aber, was sie wollen. Aus ihrem Elfenbeinlimbo irgendwo zwischen Garagenpunk und Surrealismus heraus werden sie weiter an der Realisierung ihres persönlichen Gesamtkunstwerks arbeiten.
Die Supernova Series werden veranstaltet und kuratiert von Inês Pizarro und Johannes Ludwig.
Es geht um die Verbindung von akustischen Instrumenten mit Elektronik, Improvisation und Songformen.

NOW MY LIFE IS SWEET LIKE CINNAMON is a self-creating interdisciplinary space, a constantly expanding cosmos, a growing organism with a sense for the absurd, not without a certain spirit of contradiction, humorous and driven by an uncompromising joy of experimentation.
Eric Haupt, Moritz Wesp, Anthony Greminger and Raphael Röchter are the primary masterminds of this cosmos, creators and at the same time figures of their own story, which is deliberately open in terms of content and form.
An integral part of CINNAMON’s sound spectrum is the novel instrumentation – the synthesizer trombone or the sound suit are pioneering works in the field of analog-electronic instrument making. Apart from that, vibrators or whole herds of cows also find their way into music – everything is a toy.
Nobody knows what the future will bring. But NOW MY LIFE IS SWEET LIKE CINNAMON know what they want. From their ivory limbo somewhere between garage punk and surrealism, they will continue to work on the realization of their personal Gesamtkunstwerk.
