Musik von Komponistinnen verschiedener Epochen – ein moderiertes Konzert.
Aus der ungewöhnlichen Instrumentenkombination von Querflöte, Cello, Akkordeon und Klavier entspringt ein facettenreiches Programm in originellen, teils eigens arrangierten Besetzungen. Heike Groetzner, Katharina Lehmann und Friederike Orendi wechseln hierbei immer wieder ihre Instrumente, das Klavier erklingt dabei unter anderem auch vier- und sechshändig.
Charmant und mit einem Augenzwinkern führt Kirsty Lyu durch den Abend. Ihre Moderation lädt ein zu einer Entdeckungsreise durch die Epochen und lässt die Lebensgeschichten der Komponistinnen lebendig werden.

Music by female composers from different eras – a moderated concert.
The Cologne ensemble SEI MANI, founded in 2024, is dedicated to works by female composers from the Middle Ages, Baroque, Romantic and contemporary periods.
The unusual combination of instruments – flute, cello, accordion and piano – gives rise to a multifaceted program in original, sometimes specially arranged instrumentations. Heike Groetzner, Katharina Lehmann and Friederike Orendi change their instruments time and again, with the piano also playing four and six hands.
Kirsty Lyu leads through the evening with charm and a twinkle in her eye. Her presentation invites you on a journey of discovery through the eras and brings the life stories of the composers to life.
