Pressestimmen:
Cadence Magazine, New York

Press reviews:
“A metamorphosis—a poem translated into sound… …In addition to his direct musical language, which he brings to life with bands like Underkarl or Fossile3, Sebastian Gramss possesses a sensitive, emotionally soothing musical language that is neither intrusive nor brash, but simply brings the soul-soothing restraint from the background right to the forefront…”
JAZZTHETIK
“Chisholm’s alto playing featured a wide, breathy vibrato around the pure core of the sound, and a way with delicate arpeggios that tugged at the heartstrings. He played melodically and freely, with perhaps a touch of Phil Woods in his tone. Gramss often played double stops on the bass to imply the chords, with a gilded resonance. His solos bubbled and brooded behind the alto’s backing lines.”
JAZZAHEAD, Bremen
“Sebastian Gramss is a masterful bassist, demonstrating his ability to play rich, dark lines, then showcasing a consistently firm command of arco technique…”
