PK’s RÖSCHENHOF

2024 war ein sehr transformatives Jahr für mich. Große Verluste, große Unzufriedenheit mit mir selbst und geringe Motivation und Lebensfreude führten dazu, dass ich mich zwangsläufig intensiver mit mir und der Welt befassen musste.

Ich fand Halt in der Auseinandersetzung mit taoistischer Philosophie, dialektischen Denkströmungen und frischer Musik.

Dadurch etablierte sich in mir eine neue Gelassenheit, eine liebevolle Abkehr gegenüber rigiden Definitionen, ein Feiern der Widersprüchlichkeit menschlicher Existenz und eine tiefe Liebe zum Nichts, als Quelle für Alles.

Mit diesem neuen Projekt PK’s Röschenhof möchte ich auch synthetisch, das ganze Spektrum aller Dinge ausschöpfend, definitionslos und intuitiv versuchen eine Musik zu schaffen, die widersprüchlich, dialektisch, spirituell und im besten Sinne menschlich und natürlich ist.

Ästhetische Doktrin oder waghalsige Vorstellungen, sollten im Kompositionsprozess und in der Performance keinen Platz haben. In diesem neu geschriebenen Programm, werde ich mit meinen Freund:innen Theresia Philipp, Lucie Graehl, Robert Lucaciu und Leif Berger nach der Wahrheit des Moments suchen, wie auch immer diese sich musikalisch abzeichnet. Den Grundstein dafür legen 10 neu geschriebene Kompositionen, die gespeist sind aus unterschiedlichen Einflüssen meiner Lieblingsartists des letzten Jahres (Bach, Delroy Edwards, Coltrane, Stravinsky, Ives) aber auch Bedeutung durch Werke wie das Tao Te Ching oder das Zhuangtzu bekommen haben.

2024 was a very transformative year for me. Major losses, great dissatisfaction with myself and a lack of motivation and joie de vivre meant that I inevitably had to take a closer look at myself and the world.
I found support in the exploration of Taoist philosophy, dialectical currents of thought and fresh music.
This gave me a new serenity, a loving rejection of rigid definitions, a celebration of the contradictory nature of human existence and a deep love of nothingness as the source of everything.

With this new project PK’s Röschenhof I would also like to try to create music synthetically, exhausting the whole spectrum of all things, without definition and intuitively, music that is contradictory, dialectical, spiritual and in the best sense human and natural.Aesthetic doctrine or reckless ideas should have no place in the compositional process or in performance. In this newly written program, together with my friends Theresia Philipp, Lucie Graehl, Robert Lucaciu and Leif Berger, I will search for the truth of the moment, however it emerges musically. The foundation for this is laid by 10 newly written compositions, which are fed by various influences from my favorite artists of the past year (Bach, Delroy Edwards, Coltrane, Stravinsky, Ives) but have also been given meaning by works such as the Tao Te Ching or the Zhuangtzu.
