Für den Abschluss seines Masterstudiums präsentiert der Pianist Philip Weyand zwei Trio Projekte mit unterschiedlichem Ansatz.
Die Musik im ersten Set basiert auf Eigenkompositionen mit einem Fokus auf Interplay und dem freien Umgang mit Puls, Harmonik und Form. Der Sound des neu gegründeten Klaviertrios wird angereichert durch die Verwendung verschiedenster Effektpedale, die den akustischen Sound des Flügels elektronisch erweitern.
In der zweiten Hälfte spielt die Band sprø improvisierte Musik.

For his masters concert, the pianist Philip Weyand will present two trio projects with different approaches.
The music in the first set is based on original compositions with a focus on interplay and the free use of pulse, harmony and form. The sound of the newly formed piano trio is enriched by the use of various effect pedals that electronically expand the acoustic sound of the grand piano.
In the second half the band sprø will play improvised music.
