Unter den Combobesetzungen großformatig, ist die Oktettbesetzung schon eine Mini-Bigband und reizt so die Freunde des großorchestralen Klangkörpers, das Wechselspiel zwischen Arrangement und Improvisation in schönster West Coast-Manier auszuloten.
Treffen sich die Bandmitlieder ansonsten öfter in den Rundfunk-Bigbands, im Schlachtross Big Band Convention oder zeitgenössisch im CCJO, wird es nun höchste Eisenbahn, die feineren Töne auszuloten und dem Luxus-Comboformat die Bühne zu geben.
Motor und Arrangeur der Band ist der Trompeter Martin Reuthner, der seine sieben Kollegen gleichermaßen wegen ihrer Ensemblequalität wie Individualität schätzt und daher nur allzugern um sich versammelt.

While the band members otherwise often come together in radio big bands, the Schlachtross Big Band Convention, or more recently in the CCJO, it is now high time to explore the finer nuances and give the stage to this luxury combo format.
