Pascal Klewer, eine feste Größe der Kölner Musikszene, präsentiert sein neues interdisziplinäres Konzertprojekt “Limerence: Love Letters”. Basierend auf intimen Liebesbriefen, inspiriert von seiner Zeit in Istanbul und der Zusammenarbeit mit dem türkischen Filmemacher Nadir Sönmez, erforscht das Projekt den emotionalen Zustand der Limerenz – ein tiefes Verlangen nach einer idealisierten Zukunft. Die Briefe bieten Einblicke in menschliche Emotionen und hinterfragen gängige Beziehungsnormen. Die besondere Besetzung aus Harfe, Cello, Bass und drei Stimmen schafft eine einfühlsame Klangwelt, die diese Themen musikalisch untermalt. Pascal hat für dieses Projekt Musiker:innen ausgewählt, deren Musik und Emotionalität ihn tief berühren, darunter Künstler:innen aus der Kölner und Berliner Szene wie Felix Henkelhausen, Kathrin Pechlof, Lina Knörr, Donya Soleimani und Elisabeth Coudoux.

Pascal Klewer, a fixture of the Cologne music scene, presents his new interdisciplinary concert project “Limerence: Love Letters”. Based on intimate love letters, inspired by his time in Istanbul and his collaboration with Turkish filmmaker Nadir Sönmez, the project explores the emotional state of limerence – a deep longing for an idealized future. The letters offer insights into human emotions and question common relationship norms. The special instrumentation of harp, cello, bass and three voices creates a sensitive soundscape that musically underpins these themes. For this project, Pascal has selected musicians whose music and emotionality touch him deeply, including artists from the Cologne and Berlin scene such as Felix Henkelhausen, Kathrin Pechlof, Lina Knörr, Donya Soleimani and Elisabeth Coudoux.
