Der Saxophonist Leonhard Huhn erforscht die Welt des Duos. In einer Serie von Konzerten unter dem Titel Left half of brain in orbit wird er unterschiedliche Besetzungen präsentieren. Ähnlich Umlaufbahnen von Himmelskörpern werden sich dabei Akustik und Elektronik, Präparation und herkömmliches Spiel, Phantasie und Form umkreisen und verweben. Leonhard Huhn begibt sich mit Saxophon und Modular Synthesizer auf die Suche nach dem alten Licht der Sterne, kosmischen Strahlungen und Sonderbarem.

In der zweiten Ausgabe der Serie begeben sich der Pianist Philip Zoubek und Leonhard Huhn auf eine gemeinsame musikalische Reise. Zoubek ist ein Meister der Improvisation und klanglichen Variabilität. Seine Fähigkeiten einen Flügel zu präparieren und musikalisch zu transzendieren sind einzigartig. Seinen Synthesizern gewinnt er die absonderlichsten Klänge ab, lässt sie „sprechen“, mit einem Hang zu FM (=Frequenzmodulation). Seine Arbeit als Solist, Komponist und Mitglied in diversen Ensembles genießt in Köln, national und international hohe Wertschätzung.
