Eine Frage, die es jeden Tag erneut zu stellen gilt. Die dringliche Konsequenz sich bewusst zu entscheiden und bewusst zu handeln. Mit ihrem Bandprojekt verpackt die Multiinstrumentalistin existenzielle Fragen in lyrische Melodien ummantelt von reibenden Grooves und warmen Gesängen. Ihre Botschaften sind eindrücklich umschmeichelnd und entwickeln sich meist im Geheimen, individuell für jeden selbst.
Denn das individuelle Erleben von Musik ist das, worauf es nach der ästhetischen Komplexität, all des künstlerischen Anspruchs, schlussendlich ankommt.

Between urban jazz and modern hip-hop and groove influences; between social injustice, cold xenophobia and crude sexism; between the highs of love and the deep valleys of everyday frustration, the young musician Gabriele Maurer, who has chosen to live in Mannheim, goes on an exploratory tour of what moves us all, unites us all and affects us all: WHO DO WE WANT TO BE?
A question that needs to be asked anew every day. The urgent consequence to decide consciously and to act consciously. With her band project, the multi-instrumentalist packs existential questions into lyrical melodies wrapped in rubbing grooves and warm vocals. Her messages are impressively flattering and usually develop in secret, individually for each person.
Because the individual experience of music is what finally matters after the aesthetic complexity, all the artistic pretensions.
