With her debut EP Fishtale and the new The Shape of Wandering, New York-based Charlotte Jacobs has created idiosyncratic music that combines avant-pop with jazz, synthesizers and live percussion. In doing so, she uses her voice as an instrument and reflects the formless paths of life in her lyrics.
