Für dieses Konzert hat die Kölner Posaunistin Shannon Barnett einen ihrer ältesten Freunde und Weggefährten, den australischen Bassisten und Komponisten Sam Anning, sowie den faszinierenden Kölner Improvisator Felix Hauptmann eingeladen.
Gemeinsam spielen sie ausgewählte Kompositionen von Barnett und Anning, und wir sind gespannt auf die ein oder andere weitere Überraschung.
Die Musik des Ensembles ist von Subtilität und Intensität mit einer Prise Leichtigkeit geprägt.

For this concert, Cologne-based trombonist Shannon Barnett has invited one of her oldest friends and companions, Australian bassist and composer Sam Anning, as well as Cologne’s fascinating improviser Felix Hauptmann.
Together they will play selected compositions by Barnett and Anning, and we are looking forward to one or two more surprises.
The ensemble’s music is characterized by subtlety and intensity with a pinch of lightness.
A surprise special guest might join in for some tunes….
