„Enemy is a delight in its intersection of artistry and technicality, but it’s more brilliant in its authenticity.“
DOWNBEAT (US) ****

“…a formidable release from three musicians at the top of their game.”
JAZZWISE MAGAZINE (UK) ****

“Muscular piano riffs, polyrhythmic drumming, guitars and vibraphone overdubs – sometimes that sounds like two albums in one.”
JAZZTHING (DE) ****

“Enemy is an enemy – of all those who think that the musical development of the piano trio is complete. They bring new, fresh accents into the action… To hear that is a pleasure.”
RONDO MAGAZINE (DE) *****

Based in London and Berlin, ENEMY play for the appreciation of expression through complexity – light-speed rhythmic patterns and dense harmonic clusters collide in a unique and formidable combination of voices that has been described as both „fiercely intense“ and „beautifully intricate“.

“…the boys are clearly from the attack department. Everything they offer happens at the edge of the technically feasible, yet they move (seemingly) playfully and „tightly“ across all the cliffs.”
NORDIC MUSIC (DE)

“…a formidable release from three musicians at the top of their game.”
JAZZWISE MAGAZINE (UK) ****

„A powerful trio that borrows both unconventional paths of today’s jazz while demonstrating a constant link with tradition. A convincing album.“
JAZZ HALO (BE)

“A strikingly vital, fiery and intense record that will undoubtedly appeal to jazz lovers.”
WRITTEN IN JAZZ (NL) ****

„Detail is the big keyword for Enemy. And Contrast, contrast through permanent change.“
JAZZ CITY (DE) 8/10
