Zusammen mit Bassist Sebastian Räther und Drummer Ralf Gessler präsentiert er auf Creatures acht spannende Stücke\, die fernab jeglichen Schubladen-Denkens sind. \nMal mehr jazzig\, dann wieder mehr dem Rock zugetan\, der Progrock-orientierte Track „The Diva“ setzt auch in diesem Metier mit dieser Instrumentierung neue Maßstäbe\, Electro-Beats und House-Klangteppiche runden den groovigen Trip durch Yabbalagas Musikwelt ab. \nDie Loops wurden im Vorfeld mit Flöte\, Klarinette und Sopransax eingespielt\, zum Teil bearbeitet und werden zu Live-Musik abgespielt. Together with bassist Sebastian Räther and drummer Ralf Gessler\, he presents eight exciting pieces on Creatures that are far removed from any pigeonholing. \nSometimes more jazzy\, then more rock-oriented\, the prog-rock-oriented track “The Diva” sets new standards in this field with this instrumentation\, electro beats and house soundscapes round off the groovy trip through Yabbalaga’s musical world. \nThe loops were recorded in advance with flute\, clarinet and soprano sax\, partly edited and played back to live music.
