Windisch © David Mesa\nAuf ein erstes gemeinsames Gespräch: die drei Musiker*innen begegnen sich mit eigenen Kompositionen und freier Improvisation. \nTabea Kind ist Bassistin\, Komponistin und Pädagogin – geboren 1999 in Karlsruhe\, heute zuhause in Köln. Ihre Leidenschaft für Musik entdeckte sie früh. Nach dem Bachelorstudium in Musikpädagogik an der Musikhochschule Freiburg\, das sie 2022 abschloss\, vertiefte sie ihre künstlerische Ausbildung am Jazzcampus Basel\, wo sie 2024 ihren Master erwarb. Prägende Impulse erhielt sie dabei von herausragenden Persönlichkeiten der internationalen Jazzszene: Larry Grenadier\, Patrice Moret\, Bänz Oester\, Dieter Ilg und Jorge Rossy zählen zu ihren Mentoren.\nSie leitet ihr eigenes Trio (Debüt-CD Fragments\, 2024) und arbeitet mit verschiedenen Ensembles zusammen\, darunter Aerie\, Aino Salto\, dem Bundesjazzorchester\, Paul Beskers Vier oder dem Mia Gjakonovski Quartett. Ihre Auftritte führen sie quer durch Europa zu renommierten Festivals und Veranstaltungsorten.\nIm April diesen Jahres wurde verkündet\, dass  Tabea Kind 2026 mit dem Jazz-Preis Baden-Württemberg ausgezeichnet wird. \nhttps://tabeakind.com/ \nJulius Windisch wurde 1995 geboren und wuchs in Offenburg auf. Von 2014-2017 studierte er Jazz Klavier in Bern\, von 2017-2019 im European Jazz Master in Kopenhagen\, Amsterdam und Berlin.\nIm Jahr 2025 erhielt er Künstlerresidenzen im Musikerwohnhaus Basel\, dem Arctic Hideway in Norwegen und in der St. Martinskirche in Kassel\, wo er mehrere Tage an der dortigen mikrotonalen Orgel arbeiten konnte. Das Bremer Streichquartett Pulse hat ein Stück für ihn in Auftrag gegeben für Orgel und Streichquartett\, welches Anfang 2027 live aufgeführt wird.\nIm März 2026 erschien das 2. Album seiner Band immerweiter auf Unit Records. Diese Band tourte 2025 in Istanbul\, Georgien\, Japan und Deutschland. Julius spielte Konzerte im Parco della Musica\, Rom\, beim Jazzfestival Kopenhagen\, Mlada Praha Festival in Prag\, Schwere Reiter in München\, HAU Hebbel am Ufer Berlin\, Dokkhuset in Trondheim\, Norwegen\, Birds Eye in Basel\, Fusion Festival in Lärz\, Unterfahrt München\, KM28 in Berlin\, Jazzopen Stuttgart\, Leipziger Jazztage & Kunst am Bauen Festival Zürich. \nhttps://juliuswindisch.com/ \nLuise Volkmann (* 1992) ist eine in Köln lebende Musikerin und Klangkünstlerin. Ihr bevorzugtes Instrument ist das Saxophon. Ihr musikalisches Schaffen dreht sich um das transformative Potenzial von Musik – mit verschiedenen Bands\, die sie ins Leben ruft und ins Leben gerufen hat.\nLuises Alben wurden von der Zeitschrift „Die Zeit“ und dem Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland zu den besten Alben der Jahre 2018 und 2021 gewählt. Als Saxophonistin hat sie mehrere Preise gewonnen und wurde 2020 und 2024 für den Deutschen Jazzpreis nominiert. She discovered her passion for music at an early age. After completing her bachelor’s degree in music education at the Freiburg University of Music in 2022\, she furthered her artistic training at Jazzcampus Basel\, where she earned her master’s degree in 2024. She received formative inspiration from outstanding figures in the international jazz scene: Larry Grenadier\, Patrice Moret\, Bänz Oester\, Dieter Ilg\, and Jorge Rossy are among her mentors.\nShe leads her own trio (debut CD Fragments\, 2024) and collaborates with various ensembles\, including Aerie\, Aino Salto\, the Swiss Federal Jazz Orchestra\, Paul Besker’s Vier\, and the Mia Gjakonovski Quartet.
