Nach zahlreichen Konzerten in Deutschland\, Belgien und den Niederlanden entschieden sich die beiden\, eine neue Band mit drei Größen der deutschen Jazzszene zu gründen.\nIm Saxophonisten Peter Ehwald (Schultze-Ehwald-Rainey\, Double Trouble)\, einem guten Freund der beiden\, sowie im Multiinstrumentalisten John Schröder (Der Rote Bereich) – hier am Schlagzeug – und im Kontrabassisten Jonas Westergaard (Dell-Lillinger-Westergaard\, Jakob Bro) fanden die beiden aufstrebenden Musiker*innen drei großartige Mitstreiter für ihr neues Quintett – beim LOFT-Konzert am Montag den 15. September 2025 wird der ebenso großartige Reza Askari am Bass zu hören sein.\nWhite und Reznichenko verbindet eine Liebe sowohl zur hochkomplexen als auch zur minimalistischen Musik – polyrhythmische\, harmonisch komplexe Stücke wechseln sich mit langsamen Blues und Balladen ab. Die fünf Musiker*innen bringen dabei stark kontrastierende Persönlichkeiten\, sowohl musikalisch als auch menschlich\, ein. After numerous concerts in Germany\, Belgium and the Netherlands\, the two decided to form a new band with three greats from the German jazz scene.\nIn saxophonist Peter Ehwald (Schultze-Ehwald-Rainey\, Double Trouble)\, a good friend of the two\, as well as multi-instrumentalist John Schröder (Der Rote Bereich) – here on drums – and double bassist Jonas Westergaard (Dell-Lillinger-Westergaard\, Jakob Bro)\, the two up-and-coming musicians found three great collaborators for their new quintet – at the LOFT concert on Monday\, September 15th\, 2025\, the equally great Reza Askari will be heard on bass.\nWhite and Reznichenko share a love of both highly complex and minimalist music – polyrhythmic\, harmonically complex pieces alternate with slow blues and ballads. The five musicians bring strongly contrasting personalities to the table\, both musically and personally.
