Huhn © Oliver Bellendir\nDie beiden Musiker sind angetrieben von der gleichen Fragestellung: Was kann mein Instrument sein? Wie lässt sich das eigene Instrument\, ausgehend von Saxophon und Posaune\, transformieren durch die grenzenlosen Möglichkeiten der elektronischen Klangerzeugung? Wie lässt sich hier eine Spielform finden\, in der sich die Qualitäten aus beiden Bereichen nicht gegenseitig negieren. Spontanität und Körperlichkeit\, Programmieren und Regler regeln. Leonhard Huhn speist sein Saxophonsignal in ein komplexes System aus sich gegenseitig modulierenden elektronischen Einheiten ein und lässt sich vom kontrollierbaren Chaos inspirieren. Moritz Wesp benutzt Sensoren um das Spielgefühl und die Mechanik des Posaunenspiels einzufangen und seinen Posaunenklang dann digital zu resynthetisieren und zu manipulieren. How can my own instrument\, based on the saxophone and trombone\, be transformed by the limitless possibilities of electronic sound production? How can a playing form be found in which the qualities from both areas do not negate each other? Spontaneity and physicality\, programming and control. Leonhard Huhn feeds his saxophone signal into a complex system of mutually modulating electronic units and is inspired by controllable chaos. Moritz Wesp uses sensors to capture the feel and mechanics of trombone playing and then digitally resynthesizes and manipulates his trombone sound. Together they discover their experimental setups in an improvisational manner.
