Die fünf Komponisten des Projekts sind selbst Instrumentalisten von Saiten- bzw. E-Saiten-Instrumenten oder Spezialisten für Elektronik. Es geht also um einen interdisziplinären Austausch und darum\, die Geige als elektronisches Objekt in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen. \nDas Ultra von ULTRAVIOLIN ist ein Gang über die Grenzen des Bekannten hinaus\, eine Erforschung\, was das E von E-Violine bedeutet und was das Besondere an ihm ist. Ultra beinhaltet auch extrem. The five composers of the project are themselves instrumentalists of string or e-string instruments or specialists in electronics. So it is about an interdisciplinary exchange and about putting the violin as an electronic object in the center. \nULTRAVIOLIN’s Ultra is a walk beyond the boundaries of the known\, an exploration of what the E of e-violin means and what is special about it. Ultra also implies extreme. This solo project is a very thorough and in-depth attempt focused on a single\, rare instrument.
