Aus dem Dickicht auftauchende Themenköpfe und wildwüchsige Eigenkompositionen zwingen sie\, sichere Trampelpfade zu verlassen. Since founding their open-air band at the Moers Festival in 2023\, drummer Simon Camatta\, electric guitarist Raissa Mehner\, and vibraphone player Salome Amend have barely survived with the help of electronics and Pliocene odds and ends. Themes emerging from the thicket and wildly growing original compositions force them to leave the safety of the beaten path. Toxodon’s short but muscular legs ended in three toes for a reason\, so that even today it still serves as a far-fetched analogy: Three toes\, three syllables\, three musicians from three cities connect the Ruhr area\, the Rhineland\, and the Bergisches Land\, creating a daring jumble of semi-aquatic soundscapes and rugged independent rocks. \n\n\n  \n\n
