\nhttps://hildemusic.com/ \nhttps://jannissicker.com \nhttps://www.stefankarlschmid.net/ \nhttps://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Huhn \nhttps://stefanschoenegg.de/ \nhttps://www.fabianarends.com/ \n\nEin Festival von SCHMID’s HUHN\, gefördert von: \n  \n \n  \n  \nund \n \n  \n  \nunterstützt mit Mitteln der \n \n\n  \nHilde:\nMarie Daniels – vocals\nJulia Brüssel – violin\nMaria Trautmann – trombone\nEmily Wittbrodt – cello \nJannis Sicker – guitar solo \nSchmid’s Huhn:\nStefan Karl Schmid – tenor saxophone\, clarinet\nLeonhard Huhn – tenor saxophone\, clarinet\nStefan Schönegg – bass\nFabian Arends – drums \nFurther information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here.\nWith the COLOGNE SONGBOOK VOL. 1 \, a collection of 111 compositions by Cologne musicians has been created in collaboration between the ensemble SCHMID’s HUHN and the Kölner Jazzkonferenz e.V.. It documents the stylistic diversity of the city’s jazz and improvisation scene.\nTo mark its release\, we invite you to a two-day festival at the LOFT\, because a collective work calls for a collective celebration. \nThe second evening likewise presents three very different approaches to the Songbook: Hilde open with a chamber-music line-up of vocals\, violin\, trombone and cello\, Jannis Sicker takes to the guitar solo\, and Schmid’s Huhn close the evening improvising in the classic quartet format of two wind instruments\, bass and drums.\nThe festival does not see itself as a repertoire concert\, but as an artistic development of the material – the audience experiences how compositions from the same source sound new again and again through different voices. \nThe COLOGNE SONGBOOK VOL. 1 is published as a high-quality publication\, making the diversity of the Cologne scene permanently accessible. All proceeds from sales go to the Kölner Jazzkonferenz e.V. and flow directly back into the independent scene.
