Wójcik bezog die Musiker*innen eng in die Entstehung und Entwicklung der Musik ein\, indem er speziell für die einzigartigen Stile und Techniken der einzelnen Ensemblemitglieder komponierte.\nDie Musik ist eine Suche nach einem Gleichgewicht zwischen der präzisen Organisation des musikalischen Materials und der Freiheit des Ausdrucks. Wójcik gibt die Idee der Solist*innen zugunsten eines Dialogs und der Suche nach einer gemeinsamen Sprache innerhalb des Ensembles auf. Er schöpft aus verschiedenen Musiktraditionen\, die auf den ersten Blick oft weit auseinander liegen\, und schafft so ein genreübergreifendes Umfeld voller Kontraste und Oxymorone. \nIhr Debütalbum mit dem Titel All the Wonders of Six Little Spoons wird am 6. Oktober 2023 auf dem Kopenhagener Label Gotta Let It Out veröffentlicht. \n\n\n\nGefördert durch den \n \n  \n  \nunterstützt mit Mitteln der  \n \n\nSzymon Wójcik – electric guitar\, compositions\nThea Soti – voice\nFerdinand Schwarz – trumpet\nAmalie Dahl – alto sax\, clarinet\nVictor Fox – bass clarinet\nEmilia Gołos – piano\nZoe Argyriou – vibraphone\, timpani\, bass drum\nMagdalena Lorenz – violin\nJonas Gerigk – bass\nAnthony Greminger – drums \n\n\n\n\nInformation about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll the Wonders of Six Little Spoons is a project founded in Cologne in 2021 by the Polish\, Cologne-based composer and guitarist Szymon Wójcik.\nThe ensemble consists of 10 musicians from different parts of the world\, coming from various musical backgrounds.\nWójcik’s music is an attempt to escape and find an alternative to the hierarchical composer-ensemble relationship. Wójcik closely involved the musicians in the creation and development of the music\, by composing specifically for unique styles and techniques used by each member of the ensemble.\nThe music is a search for balance between the precise organisation of musical material and freedom of expression. Wójcik gives up the idea of a soloist in favor of a dialogue and searching for a common language within the ensemble. He draws from various musical traditions\, often at first glance far apart\, creating trans-genre environment full of contrasts and oxymorons. \nTheir debut album entitled All the Wonders of Six Little Spoons is going to be released on 6th October 2023 on Copenhagen based label Gotta Let It Out.
