DESCRIPTION:Szilárd Mezei – viola\nBograd Ranković – alto sax\, bass clarinet\nBranislav Aksin – trombone\nAlbert Márkos – violoncello\nKornél Pápista – tuba\nErvin Malina – double bass\n István Csík – drums\, percussion \n\nSzilárd Mezei wurde im August 2008 von der Zeitschrift Down Beat ins Zentrum der „European Scene“ gestellt und auch seine CD „Draught“ wurde bereits von vielen Kritikern\, u. a. Art Lange/Down Beat\, unter die Top Ten Alben von 2006 gelistet. Zweifelsohne zählt der Multiinstrumentalist und Komponist zu den europäischen Rising Stars. Seine ungarischen Wurzeln verheimlicht er dabei nicht. \nDie Mitglieder des Szilárd Mezei Septetts kommen aus Serbien und Ungarn\,und haben CDs bei Leo Records\, Red Toucan\, Not Two\, Creative Sources veröffentlicht. Das Ensemble spielt im Düsseldorfer Tanzforum das Tanztheater Stück von Josef Nadj (Regional Creative centre\, Kanizsa\, Serbia) „Length of 100 needles“ und nutzt einen „off day“ um im Loft Kompositionen von Szilárd Mezei  und Improvisationen zu spielen.
