Für ihr aktuelles Album hat die Band gleich fünf Gäste auf die Studiobühne gebeten. Ein eher ungewöhnliches Streichquintett mit drei Celli und zwei Violen fügt der Musik einen warmen\, dunklen Charakter hinzu und bleibt dadurch stets auf einem kammermusikalischen Niveau. Soulcrane überzeugt mit einer fast familiären Persönlichkeit und verdeutlicht\, wie eindringlich insbesondere die leisen Töne wirken können. Information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nFor years\, the quartet „Soulcrane“ has been synonymous with atmospherically dense chamber jazz at the highest level. For their latest album\, the band has invited no less than five guests to the studio stage. A rather unusual string quintet with three cellos and two violas adds a warm\, dark character to the music and thus always remains on a chamber music level. Soulcrane convinces with an almost familiar personality and makes clear how haunting especially the quiet tones can be. Each instrument has equal rights and the nine musicians from Cologne always know how to fill the large playing space with musical value.\nTogether they appear naturally as a collective and radiate great harmony and inner peace. \n
