Was meinen Geist und was fühle ich dabei?\nDas Sophia Lefeber Sextett widmet sich den Gefühlen und Zuständen die entstehen\, wenn wir manipuliert werden\, fremdbestimmt handeln\, uns verlieben\, uns in Schmerz und Trauer verlieren und in Hoffnung wieder finden. Es ist eine persönliche Reise durch das Leben mit ihren schönsten\, lehrreichen und doch auch schmerzvollsten Geschichten. Die Gedanken und Erlebnisse werden durch das Ensemble in Klang übersetzt. Die Emotionen die dabei entstehen\, werden mal melodiöser\, mal skurriler in freier Improvisation durch Oddmeter\, Ruhe und Energie getragen.\nDas Sextett beschäftigt sich mit den Kompositionen der Jazzsängerin Sophia Lefeber. Inspiration findet die Sängerin in Filmmusik\, in dem Weinen\, dem Klagen und dem euphorischen Lachen und Seufzen\, mit dem die Stimme ihre Geschichten erzählt. What determines my mind and what do I feel?\nThe Sophia Lefeber Sextet is dedicated to the feelings and states that arise when we are manipulated\, act under the control of others\, fall in love\, lose ourselves in pain and sorrow and find ourselves again in hope. It is a personal journey through life with its most beautiful\, instructive and yet also most painful stories. The thoughts and experiences are translated into sound by the ensemble. The emotions that arise are carried sometimes more melodious\, sometimes more whimsical in free improvisation through oddmeter\, calm and energy.\nThe sextet deals with the compositions of jazz singer Sophia Lefeber. The singer finds inspiration in film music\, in the weeping\, the lamenting and the euphoric laughter and sighing with which the voice tells its stories. These impressions are woven together in a modern jazz context.
