Das Projekt erforscht die Metapher der Musik als Gewebe: ein lebendiger Stoff\, der aus Fäden komponierter Strukturen und improvisierter Gesten verwoben wird.\nDie Stücke sind als modularer Zyklus konzipiert: sie können einzeln aufgeführt oder zu größeren Konzertformen kombiniert werden.\nImprovisation erscheint nicht als „Zusatz“\, sondern wird in das komponierte Material integriert\, sodass die Grenze zwischen festgelegter Struktur und spontaner Erfindung bewusst verwischt wird. In this way\, *The Fabrics of Music* reflects Simon Nabatov’s hybrid artistic practice—rooted in chamber music and contemporary composition\, yet shaped by free improvisation and new music.
