DESCRIPTION:Sean Payne – Saxophon \nRainer Böhm – Piano \nMatthias Pichler – Bass \nKai Craig – Schlagzeug \n\n(english: see below) \nInformationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nDas Konzert dieses brandneuen Quartetts präsentiert Sean Paynes Kompositionen\, die auch auf dem parallel-enstehenden Debütalbum zu hören sein werden.\nNeben starken Einflüssen von Kenny Kirkland und Michael Brecker kommt in dieser Musik auch Seans eigene Stimme als Saxophonist und Komponist zum Tragen.\nNachdem er vor über drei Jahren mit der Arbeit an diesem speziellen Material begonnen hat\, war ein großer Teil der Entwicklung die enge musikalische Beziehung\, zu dem Schlagzeuger Kai Craig.  Die Art und Weise\, wie sie zusammen spielen\, dient als Fundament für diese Band.\nWährend seiner Zeit in Köln hatte Sean die Gelegenheit\, mit dem herausragenden Pianisten Rainer Böhm zu spielen\, und nachdem er einige Stücke mit ihm angspielt hatte stand fest\, dass er Bestandteil der Band sein muss. Having started working on this particular material over 3 years ago\, a huge part of it’s evolution has been the intimate musical relationship Sean and Kai Craig have developed.\nThey way in which they play together\, serves as a foundation for this band.\nWhilst living in Köln\, Sean had the opportunity to play with the outstanding Pianist Rainer Böhm and after playing these tunes with him\, he was a clear choice to feature in this band. The final member of the Quartet\, Matthias Pichler is truly one of the best Bassists around anywhere in the world. \nAfter hearing him perform live at LOFT in 2022 (along with Rainer’s strong recommendation)\, Sean was convinced he would be the perfect match for the band. \nSean is a fantastic player and has great ears; and he can swing!\nSusan Brecker
