Sonntags – sind möglich.\nWeitere Informationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nScott Fields String Feartet © Pavel Borodin\nAlle Gäste erhalten mit dem Eintritt die CD throw als Geschenk.\nFrühere Versionen des String Feartet enthielten E-Gitarren\, die in der Regel verzerrt und dann mit einem Lautstärkepedal gebändigt wurden\, so dass ihre Obertöne und ihr Anschlag mit den gestrichenen Saiten harmonierten. \nIn dieser Version des Feartet ersetzt die Cowboy-Gitarre die E-Gitarre. Die Gitarre hebt sich eher von den anderen Saiten ab\, als dass sie mit ihnen verschmilzt. \nDiese Suite wurde von der Bonner In Situ Art Society für BTVN 2020 in Auftrag gegeben. Die Aufgabe bestand darin\, Beethovens späte Streichquartette neu zu interpretieren. Als Fields mit der Neuinterpretation fertig war\, war von Beethoven keine Spur mehr zu erkennen. Deshalb benannte er die Suite in Würfe um\, um sein jahrzehntelanges Interesse am Sumo und insbesondere seine Vorliebe für mongolische Rikishi wie Terunofuji (den einzigen aktiven Yokozuna) und den Ozeki Hoshoryu zu reflektieren. Die mongolischen Rikishi setzen mehr Würfe ein als die japanischen Rikishi\, die sich eher auf Stoß- und Schubangriffe konzentrieren.\nJede der Bewegungen der Suite (Sukuinage\, Kotenage\, Yaguranage\, Tsukaminage und Ipponzeo) ist nach einem Sumo-Wurf benannt. \nDiese Musik hat noch weniger mit Sumo als mit Beethoven zu tun. The guitar contrasts with the other strings rather than blends. \nThis suite was commissioned by Bonn’s In Situ Art Society for BTVN 2020. The assignment was to reimagine Beethoven’s late string quartets. By the time Fields was done reimagining\, no trace of Beethoven was identifiable. That’s why he retitled the suite throws to reflect his decades-long interest in Sumo and especially his affection for Mongolian rikishi\, such as Terunofuji (the sole active Yokozuna) and the Ozeki Hoshoryu. Mongolian rikishi employ throws more than Japanese rikishi\, who lean toward pushing and thrusting attacks.\nEach of the suite’s movements (sukuinage\, Kotenage\, yaguranage\, tsukaminage\, and ipponzeo) is named after a sumo throw. \nThis music has even less to do with Sumo than with Beethoven.
