DESCRIPTION:Scott Fields – guit.\nScott Roller – cello\nSebastian Gramss – bass\nJoão Lobo – drums \nScott Fields\, Gitarrist und Komponist aus Chicago\, lebt seit 2003 in Köln. Er hat unter seinem Namen 16 CD’s auf renommierten Labels wie Delmark\, Music and Arts und 482 Music veröffentlicht. In seinen Ensembles haben u.a.Hamid Drake\, Michael Formanek\, Guillermo Gregorio\, John Hollenbeck\, Joseph Jarman\, Rob Mazurek\, Jeff Parker\, Matthias Schubert und Michael Zerang mitgewirkt. Die Musiker des heutigen Konzertes\, der deutsche Bassist Sebastian Gramms\, der portugiesische Schlagzeuger João Lobo und der amerikanische Cellist Scott Roller\, erscheinen alle auch auf der neuen CD „Music for the Chicago Radio Program This American Life“ auf Neos Records. Gramms und Lobo sind auch auf der CD des Scott Fields Freetet ‚Bitter Love Songs‘ bei Clean Feed Records zu hören. Am heutigen Abend wird die Band eine Mischung aus beiden CD’s präsentieren\, welche eine stilistische Bandbreite von sanften\, ungroovigen Meditationen bis hin zu schrägem Free Jazz umfasst.
