Jedoch veranlassten die Umstände\, dass die Duo-Aufnahme in die Solo-CD „burning in water\, drowning in flame“ in ein Set von ganz verschiedenen Stücken mutiert ist. Erst Jetzt bedienen Fields und der schweizer Schlagzeuger Dominik Mahnig sich des Original-Duo-Materials und fassen einige der Solo-Kompositionen als Duette neu auf. \nwww.scottfields.com \nwww.dominikmahnig.com \n\nIn early 2015 New Atlantis Records asked the American guitarist Scott Fields to record a CD of compositions for electric guitar and drums. Fields wrote the material\, found a drummer\, and scheduled a warm-up gig and recording session. Circumstances\, however\, mutated that duo recording into the solo CD “burning in water\, drowning in flame\,” a set of entirely different pieces. \nNow Fields and Swiss percussionist Dominik Mahnig revisit the original duo material and recast some of the solo compositions as duets.
