Die drei Kölner prägen seit Jahren zahlreiche Konzerte und Projekte\, sowohl in der Domstadt als auch darüber hinaus. Ihre gemeinsame Sprache der offenen Improvisation schafft Raum für frische Visionen und Ideen\, ohne dabei den Moment und das interaktive Miteinander aus den Augen zu verlieren. Regelmäßig begegnen sie sich in renommierten Ensembles wie Reza Askari’s ROAR oder dem Subway Jazz Orchestra. In dieser Konstellation jedoch stehen sie erstmals gemeinsam auf der Bühne. \nKomplettiert wird das Quartett durch den New Yorker Bassisten Chris Lightcap\, der neben seinen eigenen Formationen und Veröffentlichungen für die Zusammenarbeit mit Jazzgrößen wie Regina Carter\, Mary Halvorson und Craig Taborn bekannt ist. \nIm Kölner LOFT erwartet das Publikum ein musikalisch intimer Konzertabend\, der unvorhersehbare Pfade beschreitet und ein dynamisch kraftvolles Momentum entfaltet. The three musicians from Cologne have been shaping numerous concerts and projects for years\, both in the cathedral city and beyond. Their shared language of open improvisation creates space for fresh visions and ideas without losing sight of the moment and interactive interaction. They regularly meet in renowned ensembles such as Reza Askari’s ROAR or the Subway Jazz Orchestra. In this constellation\, however\, they are performing together on stage for the first time. \nThe quartet is completed by New York bassist Chris Lightcap\, who is known for his collaborations with jazz greats such as Regina Carter\, Mary Halvorson and Craig Taborn in addition to his own formations and releases. \nAt the LOFT in Cologne\, the audience can expect a musically intimate concert evening that treads unpredictable paths and unfolds a dynamically powerful momentum.
