In dieser Zeit arbeiteten sie in unterschiedlichsten Formationen und Kontexten zusammen – in freier Improvisation\, im Rahmen zeitgenössischer ausgeschriebener Komposition\, hin zu interdisziplinärer Performance und zuletzt in einem Aufenthalt in einer ländlichen Region im Südosten Portugals\, wo sie lokale Bräuche\, Lebensweisen\, traditionelle Musik und nicht zuletzt Klänge im Allgemeinen erforschten. \nIn diesem kammermusikalischen Rahmen stoßen sie abermals aufeinander\, um den gemeinsamen Erfahrungen Ausdruck zu verleihen. Der Fokus ihrer Zusammenarbeit liegt dabei auf dem gegenseitigen Austausch durch Elemente wie dem Spielerischen\, Triebhaften; einer Sensibilität für die reziproken Zusammenhänge interner und externer Dynamiken; sowie Dichotomien wie Intention/“non-Intention“ oder Komposition/Improvisation.\nMan darf gespannt sein! \nhttps://samuelgapp.com \nhttps://www.instagram.com/za.michalek/ \n\n\n\n\n\nSamuel Gapp – piano\nJan Michálek – violin\, electronics\, saxophone \nFurther information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here.\nSamuel Gapp (DE) and Jan Michálek (CZ) met in Lisbon\, where they both lived for several years. During this time\, they worked together in a wide variety of formations and contexts – in free improvisation\, in the context of contemporary written compositions\, in interdisciplinary performance and\, most recently\, in a residency in a rural region in south-eastern Portugal\, where they explored local customs\, ways of life\, traditional music and\, last but not least\, sounds in general. \nIn this chamber music setting\, they once again come together to give expression to their shared experiences. The focus of their collaboration is on mutual exchange through elements such as playfulness and instinctuality; a sensitivity for the reciprocal connections between internal and external dynamics; and dichotomies such as intention/non-intention or composition/improvisation.\nYou can be curious!
