Zusammen präsentieren sie neue Kompositionen des Bandleaders Reza Askari\, welche im Dezember 2021 aufgenommen wurden und die Ende Juni 2022 auf dem Album Roar feat. Information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nCologne-based bassist and composer Reza Askari and his colleagues Stefan Karl Schmid on saxophone and Fabian Arends on drums never miss an opportunity to test the boundaries of jazz – playfully and full of curiosity about the unknown – and redefine them for the ensemble. \nFounded in 2012\, the trio has since earned a notable reputation in the national and international music scene\, continuously working and researching their own band sound.\nAfter several tours at home and abroad as well as two albums in trio format (Roar 2017 and Magic Realism 2020)\, the band now continues its journey of exploration and further development of the ensemble sound in a quartet with uber-vibraphonist Christopher Dell. Together they present new compositions by bandleader Reza Askari\, which were recorded in December 2021 and will be released on the album „Roar feat. Christopher Dell at the end of June 2022 on the Berlin label QFTF.
