Lebensjahr war Luise Volkmann ein Teil des kleinsten autonomen Zentrums Deutschlands: Dem JZO Oerlinghausen. Die Punks boten auf dem Lippischen Land die einzige interessante kulturelle Arbeit: sie organisierten Konzerte\, Themenabende oder Poetry-Slams. Die Musik stand als Ausdruck eines Lebensgefühls und politischer Gesinnung im Zentrum der Gemeinschaft – Musik mit einer mitreißenden Dringlichkeit.\nImmer schon empfand Volkmann\, dass Punk und Free Jazz artverwandt sind. In Dringlichkeit\, politischer Aussage und dem sozialen Drumherum der Musik. So entstand ihr neues Punk-Jazz-Projekt mit Fanny Lasfargues (Bass)\, Oliver Steidle (Schlagzeug) und Alwin Weber (Elektronik). Bei diesem energetischen Repertoire spielen die Musiker*innen zusätzlich zu ihren Instrumenten Noise Toys. Music was at the centre of the community as an expression of an attitude to life and political convictions – music with a rousing urgency.\nVolkmann has always felt that punk and free jazz are related.
