Wobei man ahnt\, dass sich dieses Mal eine gänzlich andere\, neue Klangtextur ergeben wird. Vor eineinhalb Jahren tauchte die vorzügliche Saxofonistin aus Mannheim tiefenentspannt und doch souverän pointierend in Kompositionen von Thelonious-Monk ein (wovon auch das hintergründige\, fast verschmitzte Stück Sweet and Lovely auf Pablo Helds Meet-me-at-the-LOFT-Album zeugt). Jetzt begegnet sie Mitspielern\, mit denen sich weitere\, spielerisch nicht weniger spannende Inspirationsquellen anzapfen lassen. \nBassist Nico Klöffer kommt aus Saarbrücken\, ist aber schon seit längerem in Köln verwurzelt\, wo er u.a. mit Simon Below und Leif Berger den Jazz eindrucksvoll neutönen ließ. Zusammen mit Kristina Shamgunova spielte er zudem die melancholische Musik in Philip Weyands Quartett Myosotis. Dessen Anklänge an feinen Nordic Jazz dürften vor allem Schlagzeuger Jakob Høyer gefallen\, der dänischen Indie-Rock mit den Raveonettes spielte\, bevor er u.a. im Jakob Bro Trio (bei Konzerten mit Tom Harrell) seine brillanten Filigran-Qualitäten bewies.
