So wie Jazzmusiker*innen in Deutschland. \nIn Neobiont vereint der mittlerweile in Berlin ansässige Saxophonist und Komponist Benedikt Jäckle seine langjährigen Freunde und musikalischen Weggefährten in einem neuen spannenden Projekt. Gemeinsam wollen die fünf Musiker\, die fest in der deutschen Musikszene verankert sind\, ihre Kraft auf einen Nenner bündeln und hochenergetische Musik schaffen\, die mal nach elegischer  Klangmalerei\, dann wieder wild und kämpferisch klingt. Durch die Kombination aus zwei Saxophon\, Klavier\, Bass und zwei Schlagzeugen steht das Rhythmische Element im Vordergrund. Mit Wurzeln tief in der Jazzhistorie geht es der Band nicht um eine neue Definition von zeitgemäßem Jazz\, sondern vor allem um persönliche Hingabe und das Loslösen von verbrauchten Mustern.\nNeobiont beweist\, dass im 21. Together\, the five musicians\, who are firmly anchored in the German music scene\, want to concentrate their power on one denominator and create highly energetic music that sometimes sounds like elegiac sound painting\, then again wild and combative. Combining saxophone\, piano\, bass and two drums\, the rhythmic element is at the forefront. With roots deep in jazz history\, the band is not concerned with a new definition of contemporary jazz\, but above all with personal devotion and breaking away from stale patterns.\nNeobiont proves that in the 21st century it is possible to find a current way to carry on the jazz tradition in Europe and yet add something relevant. \n
