Gratkowski © Ulrich Stefan Knoll\nZum ersten Mal werden Moritz Preisler und Frank Gratkowski im Duo aufeinandertreffen.\nEs geht um das Gestalten im Moment\, den Genuss einmaliger Augenblicke\, den Reiz des Unbekannten und der ersten Begegnung.\nMoritz Preisler ist Pianist und Komponist und lebt seit 2013 in Köln. Er wuchs in Bonn in einem musikalischen Umfeld auf\, fing seine pianistische Ausbildung klassisch an und tendierte\, auch als Komponist\, immer mehr in Richtung Jazz\, Improvisierte und Neue Musik.\nDie Schwerpunkte seiner künstlerischen Arbeit sind sein aktuelles Klavier-Solo-Projekt Chiasma und sein Trio mit David Helm am Kontrabass und Jan Philipp am Schlagzeug\, mit dem er 2022 das hochgelobte (und auch im LOFT aufgenommene) Debut-Album Raureif bei Klaeng Records veröffentlichte. Er ist in verschiedenen kleinen und großen Formationen europaweit als Pianist und Komponist tätig. Seit November 2019 spielte er im französischen „Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes“ unter der Leitung von Franck Tortiller\, aus dessen Mitgliedern sich 2021 das europäische Ensemble „Asteria Collectif“ gründete.\nAußerdem ist er in diversen interdisziplinären Kontexten aktiv\, z. B. als Komponist für Tanzprojekte\, als Pianist an der Oper Bonn\, als Tanzkorrepetitor\, bei Stummfilmimprovisation\, der Vertonung bildender Kunst und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Lichtkünstlerin Jacqueline Hen. \nFrank Gratkowski bedarf beim LOFT-Publikum keiner besonderen Vorstellung. \nwww.moritzpreisler.com \nwww.gratkowski.com \n\nFrank Gratkowski – saxophon\nMoritz Preisler – piano\nInformation about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nFor the first time Moritz Preisler and Frank Gratkowski will meet as a duo.\nIt is about creating in the moment\, the enjoyment of unique moments\, the allure of the unknown and the first encounter.\nMoritz Preisler is a pianist and composer who has lived in Cologne since 2013. He grew up in Bonn in a musical environment\, began his pianistic training classically and\, also as a composer\, tended more and more towards jazz\, improvised and new music.\nThe main focus of his artistic work is his current solo piano project Chiasma and his trio with David Helm on double bass and Jan Philipp on drums\, with whom he released the highly acclaimed (and also recorded at LOFT) debut album Raureif on Klaeng Records in 2022. He is active as a pianist and composer in various small and large formations throughout Europe.
