Im Kontext des Quartetts wirkt sein Pianospiel als geistiges Zentrum und lässt gleichzeitig Raum und Freiheit für das hochkarätig besetzte Ensemble\, für jeden einzelnen Musiker. Als Solist in der Auseinandersetzung mit der Musik Bachs erlebt man den Pianisten gereift und vielfältig\, ein Künstler mit tiefgründigem Ausdruck. \nwww.johannesmoessinger.de \nIn seinem neu formierten Trio setzt Mössinger nun auf das kongeniale Zusammenwirken mit Martin Gjakonovski\, einem der profiliertesten Jazzbassisten Europas und ECHO Jazz-Preisträger Bastian Jütte am Schlagzeug.\nIn dieser Konstellation kommt die ganze Bandbreite seines Klavierspiels besonders zur Geltung. Die drei Musiker spielen dabei wie bei einem Feuerwerk unterschiedlicher Energieströme\, mal wild eruptiv\, mal mehrstimmig fließend\, voller komplexer Rhythmen und aggressiver Intervalle. Anklänge an Thelonious Monk\, Schostakowitsch und Bach sind zu hören und werden bewusst weiterentwickelt. In the context of the quartet\, his piano playing acts as a spiritual center and at the same time leaves room and freedom for the top-class ensemble\, for each individual musician. As a soloist in his exploration of Bach’s music\, one experiences the pianist as mature and multifaceted\, an artist of profound expression. \nIn his newly formed trio\, Mössinger now relies on the congenial collaboration with Martin Gjakonovski\, one of Europe’s most distinguished jazz bassists\, and ECHO Jazz Award winner Bastian Jütte on drums.\nIn this constellation\, the full range of his piano playing comes into its own. The three musicians play like a firework display of different streams of energy\, sometimes wildly eruptive\, sometimes flowing polyphonically\, full of complex rhythms and aggressive intervals.
