Es setzt sich mit gesellschaftskritischen Themen auseinander und wird auf eine futuristisch-melancholische Weise musikalisch erzählt. Eine Mischung aus Musical Textures und einfachen\, zerbrochenen Melodien schaffen einen Raum für Atmosphären und Stimmungen.\nIm Sommer 2015 gründete Shaikh-Yousef – Preisträger des Frankfurter Jazzpreises 2018 und ewinner des jungen Münchner Jazzpreises – sein Quartett. Damals war seine Musik geprägt von einer Songcharakteristik\, in der verschiedenen Stile des Jazz sowie arabische Klänge und klassische Literatur zu hören waren. It deals with socio-critical themes and is told musically in a futuristic\, melancholic way. A mixture of musical textures and simple\, broken melodies create a space for atmospheres and moods.\nShaikh-Yousef – winner of the 2018 Frankfurt Jazz Prize and winner of the Young Munich Jazz Prize – founded his quartet in the summer of 2015. At that time\, his music was characterized by a song character in which different styles of jazz\, Arabic sounds and classical literature could be heard.
