Joint projects such as Berlin People (Tobias Meinhart) and the Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio mark a deep musical connection. Tony Tixier (piano\, synth\, France)\, with whom Ruppnig previously played in the band Scopes (with Ben van Gelder\, among others)\, brings depth\, movement\, and modern timbres to the mix. Musina Ebobissé (tenor saxophone\, France)\, once a bandmate in singer Ganna Gryniva’s formation\, and Joandèr Cruz (alto saxophone & flute\, Brazil)\, who joined the recording directly and immediately impressed both musically and personally\, provide expressive playing with melodic freedom.
