Sonntags – sind möglich.\nWeitere Informationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nMAjÄL / مجال\nWenn der tunesische Oudvirtuose Fadhel Boubaker Jazzharmonien\, komplexe Rhythmen und sogar Stücke der zeitgenössischen Jazzkomponisten wie Pat Metheny spielt\, verschmilzt eine Jahrtausende alte Musiktradition mit der Musik unserer Gegenwart.\nMAjÄL (مجال)\, sprich [maʒaːl]\, spielt vor allem Eigenkompositionen inspiriert von Modern Jazz\, Odd Meter\, Maqam Musik und arabischen Songs der 50er Jahre. Der Klang der arabischen Laute ist prägend für die Musik von MAjÄL. Zusammen mit E-Gitarre und Percussion entsteht ein filigranes Geflecht aus bewegter Rhythmik\, starken Melodien und Jazzharmonik. Immer wieder wechseln die drei Musiker die Rollen und improvisieren inner- oder auch mal außerhalb ihrer Kompositionen und es entsteht eine ausdrucksstarke Musik voller Groove und Emotionen. \nhttps://majal.my.canva.site \n\nKlingt so: \n\n\n\n\nFadhel Boubaker – oud\nMatthias Kurth – electric guitar\nKonrad Wiemann – percussion \nFrom January 2024 on\, the concerts at the LOFT start round 8.00 pm\nExceptions – e.g. on Sundays – are possible.\nFurther information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nWhen Tunisian oud virtuoso Fadhel Boubaker plays jazz harmonies\, complex rhythms and even pieces by contemporary jazz composers such as Pat Metheny\, a musical tradition that is thousands of years old merges with the music of our present day.\nMAjÄL (مجال)\, pronounced [maʒaːl]\, mainly plays original compositions inspired by modern jazz\, odd metres\, maqam music and Arabic songs from the 1950s. The sound of the Arabic lute characterises MAjÄL’s music. Together with electric guitar and percussion\, a filigree network of moving rhythms\, strong melodies and jazz harmonies is created. Time and again\, the three musicians change roles and improvise both within and outside their compositions\, resulting in expressive music full of groove and emotion.
