Sonntags – sind möglich.\nWeitere Informationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nLorenz Kellhuber © Holger Riegel\n1990 in München als Sohn einer Kirchenmusikerin und eines Kirchenmusikers geboren\, beginnt Lorenz Kellhuber mit fünf Jahren eine klassische Klavierausbildung bei Brigitte Schmid an der HfKM Regensburg. Mit elf Jahren wird er dort als Jungstudent aufgenommen und als Mitglied der bayerischen Frühförderklasse auch in Violine und Kammermusik von Prof. Conrad von der Goltz unterrichtet. Ab 2003 erhält er Klavierunterricht von Prof. Franz Massinger\, einem Schüler von Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Kurz darauf wird er von Rob Bargad (Nat Adderley Quintet) entdeckt und intensiv in die Jazzstilistik eingeführt. Mit nur 16 Jahren besteht Kellhuber die Hochbegabtenprüfung und wird Student am Jazz Institut Berlin\, wo Hubert Nuss und Kurt Rosenwinkel zu seinen Dozenten zählen. Während regelmäßigen Aufenthalten in New York erhält er außerdem Unterricht bei Fred Hersch und Sophia Rosoff und beendet 2010 als einer der weltweit jüngsten Bachelor-Absolventen sein Studium.\nSeitdem führten ihn seine Konzerte durch Europa\, in die USA und nach Südamerika. Er spielte auf internationalen Bühnen wie z.B. der Berliner Philharmonie\, Isarphilharmonie München\, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg\, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao\, Montreux Jazz Festival\, Basel Jazz Festival\, Getxo Jazz Festival\, Bohemia Jazz Festival\, Mar del Plata Jazz Festival\, Jazzwoche Burghausen.\nKonzerte als Sideman und Co-Leader spielte er an der Seite von Ed Partyka\, Kurt Rosenwinkel\, Charles Lloyd\, Ack van Rooyen\, Johannes Enders\, Adele Neuhauser & Edi Nulz\, Jesse Simpson\, Orlando Le Fleming\, Steven Heelein\, Obed Calvaire\, Bob Mintzer u.v.m.\nIm Sommer 2014 kürte ihn Monty Alexander als ersten deutschen Musiker zum Sieger der renommierten Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition. 2016 wurde er für den ECHO Jazz in der Kategorie „Newcomer des Jahres“ nominiert\, 2018 gehörte er zu den zehn „neuen Key-Players“ in der Zeitschrift „Jazz thing“.\nInsgesamt neun Alben und eine EP veröffentlichte er seit 2012\, darunter die Solo Alben „Live at the Montreux Jazz Festival“ (2017)\, „Contemporary Chamber Music“ (2021) und „Live at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg“ (2022).\nSeit Abschluss seines Studiums ist Lorenz Kellhuber ein gefragter Dozent. Er gibt regelmäßig Workshops und Meisterkurse im In- und Ausland. Zum Wintersemester 2021 erhielt Kellhuber den Ruf als Professor an die Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. Gemeinsam mit Jugendfreunden gründete Lorenz Kellhuber 2020 das Kammermusikfestival Regensburg\, das er nach wie vor leitet und kuratiert. \nhttps://www.lorenzkellhuber.com/ \n\nJoe Sanders © Hamza Djenat\nJoe Sanders geboren 1984 in Milwaukee\, Wisconsin\, interessierte sich schon während seiner Jugend für verschiedenste Klänge\, sei es in Form von Blues aus dem Radio oder Musik in der Baptistenkirche\, die mit erhabenen Stimmen gefüllt war.\nSeit er 2002 den Mittleren Westen in Richtung Kalifornien verließ\, um am Brubeck Institute zu studieren\, hatte er das Glück\, an der Seite von Größen wie Dave Brubeck\, Christian McBride\, Terence Blanchard\, Ron Carter\, Roy Hargrove\, John Clayton\, Jimmy Heath\, Joshua Redman\, Charlie Haden\, Herbie Hancock\, Charles Lloyd\, Wayne Shorter und Geri Allen zu spielen und zu lernen.\nNach einem erfolgreichen Studienabschluss am Thelonious-Monk-Institut im Jahr 2007\, wo er inzwischen studierte\, zog Sanders nach New York City und wurde schnell zu einem festen Bestandteil der blühenden New Yorker Jazzszene.\nSeine Vielfältigkeit als Bassist ist mit inzwischen über 30 CD-Einspielungen als Sideman belegt. Nachdem er in der San Francisco Bay Area aufgewachsen war und bei dem legendären Schlagzeuger Donald “Duck” Bailey gelernt hatte\, zog er 2007 nach New York City\, wo er sich schnell einen Namen in der dortigen Jazzszene machte und ein Studium an der Manhattan School of Music aufnahm und 2010 abschloss.\nSeitdem ist Simpson an der Seite von Louie Bellson aufgetreten\, hat die Comedians Fred Armisen und Janeane Garafalo begleitet und tourte mit Jazzgrößen wie Marc Copland\, Kevin Hays\, Joe Lovano\, John Abercrombie\, Chris Cheek und vielen anderen. Darüber hinaus stellt er sehr erfolgreich Schlagzeugbecken her\, auf denen er selbst und inzwischen auch viele andere namhafte Jazzdrummer spielen. At the age of eleven\, he was accepted there as a junior student and\, as a member of the Bavarian early childhood development class\, was also taught violin and chamber music by Prof. Conrad von der Goltz. From 2003\, he received piano lessons from Prof. Franz Massinger\, a student of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Shortly afterwards\, he was discovered by Rob Bargad (Nat Adderley Quintet) and intensively introduced to the jazz style. At the age of just 16\, Kellhuber passed the highly gifted exam and became a student at the Jazz Institute Berlin\, where Hubert Nuss and Kurt Rosenwinkel were among his teachers.
