Zusammen mit Stefan Karl Schmid am Saxophon und Fabian Arends am Schlagzeug hat Reza Askari einen runden und homogenen Klangkörper erschaffen\, welcher vor Spiel- und Experimentierfreude gerade nur so strotzt. 
Alle drei Musiker sind gleichwertige Interaktionspartner\, wodurch der dreidimensionale Klangkörper des Ensembles ein Harmonieinstrument nicht vermissen lässt.
Das musikalische Fundament des Trios wird von Freundschaft\, gegenseitigem Vertrauen und dem Willen\, neue noch unbekannte Wege zu gehen\, stetig untermauert. Das Spielen mit Aufbrechen und Zusammensetzten von Formen und Strukturen und der Vereinigung von zeitgenössischen Strömungen mit traditionellen Werten des Jazz macht ROAR zu einem spannenden\, intensiven Hörerlebnis.
