Mit dem Kalender Piano Piano – Weiter geht’s haben wir im Jahr 2011 die Pianisten*innen und Flügel in den Fokus genommen. Jetzt nutzen wir die Gelegenheit – wie zuletzt zu anderen besonderen Anlässen\, z.B. bei den Tagen der offenen Tür oder den Jubiläums-Konzerten – Konzerte mit beiden Flügeln zu organisieren. Dafür haben wir erneut den von uns besonders geschätzten Pianisten Philip Zoubek eingeladen\, nach seinem fulminanten Solo Konzert im April sollen jetzt an drei Abenden drei Kollegen verschiedener Genres mit ihm an zwei Flügeln musizieren.\nWir freuen uns \, wenn Sie dabei sind. \nhttps://www.philipzoubek.com/ \n\nMit Sebastian Sternal präsentiert sich im dritten Konzert am Samstag den 23. Mai ein Musiker\, der seit Jahren ein fester Bestandteil des Programmes im LOFT ist\, und der den die-LOFT-Konzerte-organisierenden-Verein 2ndFLOOR e.V. auch als Vorstandsmitglied unterstützt. An diesem Abend wird das Duo die Kompositionen des Klarinettisten Jimmy Guiffre improvisatorisch unter die Lupe nehmen. Mai mit seinem ehemaligen Lehrer an der Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln Paulo Alvares bestreiten. Paolo war vor allem in den 90er Jahren bei uns sehr präsent\, und gewann 1991 mit einer Aufnahme aus dem LOFT den 1. Preis im Wettbewerb Musik kreativ (unter mehr als 1.2000 Einsendungen\, den 2. Mai hat Zoubek den Elektroniker und Pianisten Christian Lorenzen zu Gast. Er stellt sein von ihm entwickeltes\, elektro-akustisches Setup zwischen präpariertem Klavier und modularen Synthesizer vor. Mit Kontaktlautsprechern werden die elektronischen Sounds in den den akustischen Flügel „eingespeist“. He presents a electro-acoustic setup he has developed between the prepared piano and a modular synthesizer. With contact speakers\, the electronic sounds are „fed“ into the acoustic grand piano.
