Auch der Nachholtermin am Montag den 8. Februar 2021 musste verschoben werden\, Schuld war dieses Mal das Wetter. Wir hoffen\, dass das Konzert & der livestream am Montag den 22. Februar 2021 stattfinden können….und sind vorsichtig optimistisch. \nDer US-Klarinettist Michael Moore ist seit den 80er Jahren in der niederländischen Jazzszene heimisch und wurde mehrmals vom DownBeat als bester Klarinettist ausgezeichnet. Er wird sich – anhand des Themas der Konzertreihe – mit der Frage „why can’t people live in counterpoint“ beschäftigen. \nMichael Moore on wikipedia \n© Jim Newberry\n„Meine 45-jährige Erfahrung in der kollektiven Improvisation hat mich zu der Überzeugung gebracht\, dass man eine individuelle Geschichte mit einer eigenen Logik kreieren und dabei gleichzeitig den Klang und die Richtung berücksichtigen muss\, die das Kollektiv einnimmt. Oft bleiben die Individuen in einer Gruppe klanglich nahe beieinander und entwickeln sich langsam gemeinsam weiter. \nDie Erzeugung von Spannung beispielsweise durch einen Kontrapunkt ist dabei unabdingbar. Für mich geht es nicht um die Frage „Warum kann man nicht in Harmonie leben“\, sondern „Warum kann man nicht im Kontrapunkt leben?“\nMichael Moore \nDieses Konzert im LOFT ist eine Premiere: obwohl sich die drei MusikerInnen aus der lebendigen und kreativen Amsterdamer Improvisationsszene gut kennen\, haben sie noch nie als Trio zusammen gespielt. Hinter dieser Musik steckt keine Ideologie. Man kann erwarten\, dass sich die Musik schnell ändert und von Textur zu Melodie und wieder zurück wechselt. Marta verbringt so ebensoviel Zeit im Klavier wie am Keyboard.
