Von improvisatorischer Neugierde getrieben zeigen die beiden Pianisten ihre Virtuosität: Ungehörte Klänge\, blitzschnelle Läufe\, harmonische Anklänge hier und da. Die Grenzen des pianistischen Ausdrucks werden auf die Probe gestellt; mit energischer Manier gestaltet\, gedehnt und schließlich gebrochen. \nIn diesem Konzert treffen zwei Pianisten aufeinander\, zwei Generationen\, Lehrer und Schüler. \nPaulo Álvares (u.a. Gürzenich Orchester\, Ensemble MusikFabrik) war vor allem in den 90er Jahren im LOFT sehr präsent\, und gewann 1991 mit einer Aufnahme aus dem LOFT den 1. Preis im Wettbewerb Musik kreativ (unter mehr als 1.200 Einsendungen\, den 2. Driven by improvisational curiosity\, the two pianists show their virtuosity: unheard sounds\, lightning-fast runs\, harmonic echoes here and there.
