Lisa Wilhelm\, a young woman from Stuttgart\, belongs to a generation that thinks in a group-suitable and serviceable way\, that leads sensitively from the background.\nThe music on the debut album of her quartet triggers a roller coaster of emotions while listening and mediates between euphoria and melancholy. An immense amount happens in the tension between these two emotional poles. The audience remains captivated when Lisa Wilhelm and her and her three comrades-in-arms move from elation to melancholy and back again. \nDrummer Lisa Wilhelm\, who also trained in Stockholm and Lisbon\, founded her quartet in 2020 at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart\, immediately with the goal of finding a special sound of her own.\nLisa Wilhelm\, recently awarded the Soloist Prize of the Young German Jazz Award\, has already shared the stage as a member of the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy with greats such as Theo Croker\, Melissa Aldana and Yaron Herman\, but her interests are not limited to jazz.
