So zeichnet sich der Sound der Band durch die Individualität der einzelnen Musiker aus\, dessen interaktives Zusammenspiel immer im Vordergrund steht. The band’s sound is characterised by the individuality of each musician\, whose interactive interaction is always in the foreground. This is remarkable because drummers are usually responsible for the timing and not the timbre.\nJohannes Metzger is a fine observer who knows how to translate the supposedly casual into musical stringency. Some of it sounds almost like a musical travel guide through Berlin’s back streets. „These observations tend to play a subordinate role in composing\,“ Metzger admits\, „but of course it’s precisely these moods that carry me into the music when I’m writing.\nOrange Sky is an album that is as thoughtful as it is lasting\, made up of many aspects of personal and collective perception of the world as well as situational and global life experience.
