Vier Musiker\, die sich auf eine Klangreise begeben\, dabei in herausfordernde Dialoge treten\, sich öffnen und ihre gemeinsame musikalische Sprache erweitern. Vier Musiker\, die Okzident und Orient\, weltliche und spirituelleAusrichtung\, instrumentalen Furor und meditativen Sog miteinander verschmelzen. Vier Musiker\, diekomponierte und improvisierte Passagen wie lichte Wolken ineinanderfließen lassen. \nDas 2009 von Jarry Singla gegründete Ensemble spielt vorwiegend dessen Kompositionen und konzertiert national und international – bislang u.a. bei renommierten Festivals und Konzertreihen wie\nBuenos Aires Jazz\, Jazz Utsav New Delhi\, Bolivia Festijazz\, Acht Brücken – Musik für Köln\,  Lille\nPiano(s) Festival\, Düsseldorf Festival und Musik in Donaueschingen. \n2013 lebte Jarry Singla als Stipendiat der Kunststiftung NRW für sechs Monate in Mumbai. Seither arbeitet das Trio mit Pratik Shrivastav. Four musicians embarking on a journey of sound\, entering into challenging dialogs\, opening up and expanding their common musical language. Four musicians who fuse Occident and Orient\, secular and spiritual orientation\, instrumental furor and meditative pull. Four musicians who let composed and improvised passages flow into each other like light clouds. \nFounded in 2009 by Jarry Singla\, the ensemble mainly plays his compositions and performs nationally and internationally – so far at renowned festivals and concert series such as\nBuenos Aires Jazz\, Jazz Utsav New Delhi\, Bolivia Festijazz\, Acht Brücken – Musik für Köln\, Lille\nPiano(s) Festival\, Düsseldorf Festival and Musik in Donaueschingen. \nIn 2013\, Jarry Singla lived in Mumbai for six months as a scholarship holder of the Kunststiftung NRW. Since then\, the trio has been working with Pratik Shrivastav. Among other things\, the projects have led to a collaboration with the big band of Hessischer Rundfunk. \nJarry Singla EASTERN FLOWERS is one of the special ensembles selected by the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for so-called ensemble funding.
