Ingrid Laubrock © Roberto Candotti\nIn Cahoots ist der Name der neuen Band von Frank Gratkowski. Sie entstand aus dem 2016 gegründeten Quartett Gratkowski / Zoubek / Landfermann / Mahnig.\nDas Quartett hatte bislang komplett frei improvisiert und 2020 die CD Torbid Daylight veröffentlicht. \nNun spielt die Formation unter dem Namen In Cahoots Kompositionen von Frank Gratkowski und wird regelmäßig durch die wunderbare in New York City lebende Saxophonistin Ingrid Laubrock zum Quintett erweitert. The new quintet version had it’s debut in Darmstadt in 2023.
